Barack Obama's Legacy: A Public Conversation

Featuring panelists Sonia Chang-Diaz, Massachusetts State Senator; Charlotte Golar Richie, Civil Rights Commissioner/Former State Rep/Former Candidate for Mayor; and Ted Landsmark, Lawyer/Architect/Social Activist. Moderated by Joyce Ferriabough Bolling, Political & Communication strategist. And with special remarks by Mayor Martin J. Walsh.

Explore the legacy of our 44th American President with an esteemed panel of movers and shapers whose faces are featured in our current exhibit, Portraits of Purpose. What were the highs and lows of Barack Obama’s two terms in office? How did events at home and around the world impact his leadership? And what will future generations say about this president’s time in office? Get in on the conversation at the BCAE where issues always matter. A wine and cheese reception follows the discussion.

This panel discussion is presented in concert with Portraits of Purpose: A Tribute to Leadership, a photo exhibit by Don West at the BCAE from February through April 2017.
